Is the Philippines run by Secret Societies? Masonry? Mafias?

Is this a Robert Ludlum spy & deception novel? What is happening to our country? This is an intolerable situation and something's 'gotta give'..... the sooner the better!

On the one hand, you find a representative of each of our past leaders in the Boards of every Government Owned and Controlled Corporation (GOCC) and important private corporations wherein the PCGG has sequestered stockholdings owned by cronies.

On the other hand, all the country's Financial life is still under the strong influence of Marcos liminaries. The LandBank, our Government bank, is heavily ladden with non-performing, "behest", loans given freely to politicians who have no funds to pay back - due to their megalomanic fantasies of creating big businesses which they themselves do no know how to run nor less manage profitably -nor even the intention to do so.

Cronism is rampant and everybody who has a godfather in Government can start-up a fantasious corporation with Instant Nescafe-like formulae for becoming the next Bill Gates and live like an Arab Sultan.

The Masons of Pampanga, very much linked to Jueteng and GMA's family, are easily employed in PAGCOR and  PCSO, precisely the two Government corporations dedicated to "legal" gaming and charged with the Mision & Vision to raise funds for our Poor. Trust funds, ranging from 1 to 5 million PHP yearly, are given freely by these two Government corporations to private, yet very shady, NGO's, Associations and hospitals or clinics which share the plunder with public servants of these same two corporations.

Specifically, PCSO, charged with providing medical help for the Poor and Disadvantaged in its Charter, employs a very "peculiar" and biased system of approvals and rejections of help requests that is disrespectful of Philippine Administrative Law and the Constitution - it approves or denies medical help late [can a disease wait?] and according to their commissions or their whims, vulnerating the law with Administrative Silence and at the same time, not giving the administered the right to appeal a wrong or much delayed decision or administrative silence. PCSO - the inventor of vicious circles and loops in Social Welfare and Administrative Law! Anyway, it's just Filipino cynical pragmatism: Naghahanap-buhay lang naman!!

The Government must wake up, unless it wants to wake up one day to find a big surprise:  that its citizenry has become more politically and socially mature than itself!
